 Reporting vs Commenting 

7/9 magazines are right-wing and comment on news rather than reporting, whereas the 2 left-wing news are more likely to report rather than comment. However the Mirror does sometimes comment but the Guardian almost never does.  

So why are most of the newspapers right-wing viewpoints? Newspaper's are typically owned by wealthy individuals, and most rich people's viewpoints align with conservative political standpoints as they want to keep their money for themselves not be taxed to help services.
